~21 of 28 Republican Sheriffs have endorsed Jeff Kottkamp~

TALLAHASSEE – Adding to his overwhelming support from Florida’s law enforcement community, Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottkamp today announced two additional sheriffs have endorsed his candidacy for Attorney General. Gary Borders of Lake County and Ben Johnson of Volusia County join 20 other sheriffs (21 Republicans, 1 Democrat) in backing Lt. Governor Kottkamp’s campaign.

“I thank Sheriffs Borders and Johnson for their support of my campaign and am honored by the continued strong support from Florida�s law enforcers,” said Kottkamp. “As Attorney General, I will be a strong partner with sheriffs and police chiefs in ridding our neighborhoods of people who prey on Floridians.”

In addition to the 22 sheriff�s endorsements, Kottkamp has also been endorsed in the Republican primary by the Florida Fraternal Order of Police, which represents 20,000 officers around the State.
