McCollum for Governor Announces First TV Ad of 2010 Campaign, “Solid Leadership,” Featuring Governor Jeb Bush

Tallahassee, FL – Today, the McCollum for Governor Campaign launched its first television advertisement of the 2010 gubernatorial campaign, “Solid Leadership,” featuring former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. In the ad, Governor Bush discusses Attorney General Bill McCollum’s record of fighting waste and fraud, his challenge of President Obama’s health care takeover and his plan to create at least 500,000 new Florida jobs in six years.

The ad begins airing today in markets across the state. Scripts and viewing links are below.

“Florida is facing our highest unemployment rate on record, with more than one million Floridians out of work. Families are hurting and our economy is struggling. In these challenging times, we need solid leaders with real solutions,” said Bill McCollum. “I’m pleased to have the support of Governor Bush and so many other Floridians as we work to make Florida a land of prosperity and opportunity for every resident.”
