Charlie Crist for U.S. Senate: Happy Independence Day

July 2, 2010 Politics No Comments

As you prepare to celebrate our nation’s independence this July 4th weekend with your family and friends, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support of my independent campaign to be your next United States Senator.  The outpouring of support from Floridians has been truly humbling.

Just this week, I was honored to receive the endorsements of Corrections USA, representing over 80,000 correctional officers from across the nation, and the Florida Pipe Trades, representing over 12,000 Florida workers including plumbers, pipefitters, sprinklerfitters, A/C service technicians and welders.  This truly is the people’s campaign, and I am grateful for the support of these fine organizations.

My independent campaign would not be possible if our Founding Fathers didn’t declare their independence that July 4th, 234 years ago.  We are truly blessed to live in the greatest nation in the world.

As we celebrate our nation this weekend, let us remember and honor the sacrifices of the brave men and women of our armed forces and the law enforcement community.

God bless you and God bless our Florida!

Sincerely,

Charlie
