Ron Sachs Communications Adds to Award-Winning Team with Four New Hires and Promotion

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Ron Sachs Communications recently added to its award-winning public relations team with four new professional staff hires and a staff promotion. These professionals bring a variety of experience to the Florida firm, which is routinely ranked among the top independent public relations firms in Florida and one of the top 100 firms nationally.

Among the new professionals added to the firm’s two Florida offices are Beth Watson, Senior Account Manager; Janelle Pepe, Senior Account Executive; Herbie Thiele, Account Executive and Jessica Isabelle, Account Executive.  The firm also announced the promotion of its Director of Special Projects, Lisa Garcia, to Vice President.

The award-winning firm recently added to its accolades, earning two statewide Florida Public Relations Association Golden Image awards.  The firm’s successful “No But(t)s About It” campaign supported passage of a $1-a-pack tax on cigarettes, and the “Walk in My Shoes” campaign helped raise awareness about sexual abuse, supporting the passage of four new laws to better protect children.

New Hires

Orlando

Beth Watson has more than 20 years experience as a communications professional, working in public relations and corporate communications. Beth established her career at Walt Disney World Co. in community relations and worked for other various Orlando businesses, including Enterprise Florida and SunTrust Bank. Ron Sachs Communications welcomes this experienced communications veteran into its Orlando office as a Senior Account Manager.

Tallahassee

Jessica Isabelle joins the Ron Sachs Communications Tallahassee office as an Account Executive, specializing in new media strategies, branding and message development. She recently won an FPRA statewide Golden Image Award for her work on the Walk in My Shoes campaign.

Janelle Pepe joins Ron Sachs Communications as a Senior Account Executive, previously working in the Florida House Majority Office. Janelle specializes in legislative initiatives, political messaging and grassroots outreach.

Herbie Thiele joins the Tallahassee office as an Account Executive with an educational background in public relations and political science. He had a lead role in the 2010 Best and Brightest Awards and was part of the team honored with an FPRA statewide Golden Image Award for the Walk in My Shoes campaign.

Promotions

Lisa Garcia – Lisa Garcia is an EMMY Award winner who consistently garners extensive media coverage for statewide and nationwide campaigns, including the National Hurricane Survival Initiative. Prior to joining Ron Sachs Communications, Lisa worked developing campaigns and fundraising strategies for non-profit organization in Washington, D.C. Ron Sachs Communications proudly announces its new vice president, and is enthusiastic about Lisa’s continued success with the firm.
