Loranne Ausley for CFO: The Phones Are Ready to Ring!

September 6, 2010 Politics No Comments

I hope this email finds you well as you celebrate with your family and friends on Labor Day. I would first like to thank you for your time and support with Loranne’s campaign thus far, without dedicated volunteers and supporters like you we would not be where we are today.

Now that we have entered the General Election cycle the volume of our volunteers must increase and we need your help to make that happen. We are going to begin our phone banking and call program this week and need volunteers to come into our headquarters for one hour or two hour shifts to help each day.

The phone banking program will run every day between 3:00 PM-9:00 PM. We are also in need of volunteers for data entry, research, mailers, and volunteer outreach on a daily basis in our office from 10:00 AM-9:00 PM. If you can donate an hour or two of your time we would greatly appreciate the help.

Please contact Stephanie Shumate via email or phone to sign up for a volunteer time. Tell your friends and family about this volunteer opportunity too! Thank you in advance for all you do to help Loranne get elected as the next CFO!

Happy Labor Day!

State Ombudsman Recognizes Volunteers During National Volunteer Week

April 16, 2012

By Jim Crochet, State Ombudsman To celebrate National Volunteer Week, I want to recognize the group of nearly 300 volunteer ombudsmen who give so much of their time and energy advocating for over 160,000 Floridians living in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and adult family-care homes. Residents in long-term care facilities represent our friends and [...]
