TAMPA, Fla. — Pam Bondi, Republican nominee for Florida Attorney General, today announced the endorsement of the Latin Builders Association, which represents more than 750 member companies in the State of Florida. The Association praised Bondi for her commitment to encourage economic growth in Florida and her support of the lawsuit challenging the federal health care law, which will have a devastating impact on small business owners.
“Our state needs an Attorney General who will protect consumers and small business owners from fraud and who will encourage businesses to come to Florida and bring new jobs and growth with them,” said Latin Builders Association president Noelia E. Moreno. “Pam Bondi’s qualifications, commitment to public service, and tough-on-crime approach make her the best candidate to be Florida’s next Attorney General.”
The Latin Builders Association is the largest Hispanic construction association in the United States and encompasses individuals and companies related to South Florida’s construction industry. The non-profit organization represents the interests of builders, developers, contractors, architects, engineers, plumbers, electricians and tradesmen.
“Our state needs strong leadership right now, and as a career prosecutor for nearly two decades, I have the experience, legal training and determination necessary to help lead our state in the right direction,” said Bondi. “As Attorney General, I am honored to have the support of the Latin Builders Association, and I look forward to representing them and the rest of Florida’s consumers as the state’s chief legal officer.”
Bondi is a career prosecutor and fiscal conservative who believes in less government, lower taxes, and measures to help bring jobs to Florida. Her opponent is a career politician who has consistently voted against tax relief measures.
