Attorney General Warns Consumers of Graco Stroller Recall
TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General Bill McCollum today issued a consumer
advisory, on the heels of an advisory from the Consumer Product Safety
Commission (CPSC) warning consumers of two recent recalls on Graco
products. According to the CPSC, the Graco products have been recalled due
to possible safety hazards.
According to the CPSC, the Graco Quattro stroller and the Graco Metro Lite
stroller are being recalled due to possible strangulation. The recalls are
a result of four infant deaths associated with the use of these strollers.
Consumers are encouraged to stop using these strollers immediately and call
Graco for a free repair kit. Consumers are also reminded to always use the
safety harness when a child is in a stroller and to never leave a child
unattended in a stroller, especially if the stroller’s backrest is reclined
in a flat position. Consumers can visit www.cpsc.gov or www.gracobaby.com
for more information on the above recall.
