Attorney General Pam Bondi Praises the House of Representatives for the Unanimous Passage of the Bill to Ban Synthetic Drugs

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–Attorney General Pam Bondi praised the House of
Representatives today for their unanimous passage of House Bill 1175,
sponsored by Representative Ingram, which will ban new forms of synthetic
drugs, such as “bath salts” and synthetic marijuana.

“The House of Representatives demonstrated strong leadership by unanimously
passing a bill that will protect Floridians from dangerous synthetic
drugs,” stated Attorney General Pam Bondi. “We will not allow these
creative chemists to skirt state law and pose serious harm to our
residents.”
