FSU ‘Kick Butts Day’ Will Tackle Tobacco Use with Music, Food and Facts
This month, Kick Butts Day
In addition to food, a live DJ and music from local band Spirits of 44, there will be an array of inflatables that include an obstacle course, bowling and a life-size game of Operation. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held:

“I think Breathe Easy is doing a great job of informing students about second-hand smoke and its impact on everyone,” said FSU student Tatiana Daguillard. “There’s nothing cool about bad breath, smelly clothes and tobacco-stained teeth.”

Tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of death in the United States, killing more than 400,000 people every year. Every day, more than 4,000 children and young adults trytheir first cigarette, while another 1,000 become addicted smokers –– one-third of whom will die prematurely as a result.
