President’s Ice Cream Social to be Held on Landis Green

Florida State University students, faculty members, staff and campus visitors will get a chance to cool off and have some fun as the 2012 President’s Ice Cream Social takes place on Thursday, April 12. This year, the annual event will include a live DJ, lawn games and, for the adventurous, a giant inflatable obstacle course.

Florida State President Eric J. President Barron and other university administrators will join in the fun, scooping ice cream for event-goers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to see a special treat — performances by members of the FSU Flying High Circus and other student groups.

Free Edy’s Grand ice cream, cookies and Coca-Cola products will be on the menu. The event is sponsored by Asker Distributors, Inc., Edy’s Grand Ice Cream, Coca-Cola, and Classic Fare Catering presented by Aramark.
