Local Business Leaders Endorse State Representative Janet Adkins

June 1, 2012 Government No Comments

Jacksonville, Florida. JAX BIZ, the political arm of the Jacksonville Chamber has officially endorsed State Representative Janet Adkins for the new House District 11 seat.

“The support of the Jacksonville Business Leaders is a big honor and I am proud to have worked with many of these business owners to find solutions and create a framework for success. It is small businesses that create jobs and take on risk that allows our economy to grow.” Said Adkins.

“There are 21,230 businesses in Jacksonville and 1,721 in Nassau County, it is the people that innovate and work hard to compete everyday that are the backbone of our economy. When we create a framework that allows small businesses to succeed, we reap the benefits of job growth and rising prosperity.” Said Adkins

“It is important that state regulators work with business owners to create predictability and ensure that they are not held back by burdensome regulations and frivolous lawsuits. Florida was ranked by CEO Magazine as the second best place in the USA to run a business. This is a result of the hard work of the legislature and Gov. Rick Scott ensuring Florida can compete for new jobs and opportunity.” Said Adkins

“Florida is headed in the right direction and all the indicators are moving forward. If we stay the course and continue to work towards creating a friendly business climate we will attract jobs and new investment that will help grow our economy.” Said Adkins.

“I am focused on SOLUTIONS that will help employers become more competitive and bring innovation and investment capital to the First Coast. Ensuring that Northeast Florida is prepared to compete in the global marketplace will rely on the framework we create for small businesses and attracting new investment. I look forward to working with the leaders of Jax Biz to help our community grow and prosper.” Said Adkins.
