~Next POWERBALL Jackpot Set at $240 Million~

TALLAHASSEE – Florida has a new millionaire today! One lucky player who bought a POWERBALL® with Power Play® ticket for Saturday night’s draw is holding a ticket worth $2 million. The Florida Lottery has confirmed that one ticket sold for last Saturday’s POWERBALL draw matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball number itself. The winning ticket was sold at Publix, located at 6890 Miramar Parkway in Miramar. The winning numbers from Saturday night’s POWERBALL draw were 18-22-45-56-67, and the Powerball was 27.

The Florida Lottery also announces that more than 128,000 Florida players won between $15,900 and $413,368 in the Saturday, June 9, POWERBALL draw. Florida had the most winners of any other POWERBALL state in this weekend’s drawing. The multi-state lottery game is sold in Florida and 43 other states and districts across the United States. POWERBALL is a product of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL).

The next POWERBALL drawing will be held Wednesday, June 13, at 10:59 p.m. ET with a $240 million jackpot. National POWERBALL drawings are broadcast live, in high-definition, from the Florida Lottery’s state of the art draw studio in Tallahassee at 10:59 p.m. ET on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery website, at retailers statewide and by phone at (850) 921-PLAY.
