FORMER DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD CHAIR NANCY BRONER ENDORSES MIKE WEINSTEIN FOR STATE SENATE
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Nancy Broner, former Chair of the Duval County School Board, today endorsed Representative Mike Weinstein for the State Senate. Broner cites Weinstein’s understanding that teachers, parents and school boards here in the district know best how to educate our children and not Tallahassee bureaucrats as some of the reasons that she supports him.
“Mike understands that teachers, parents and school boards here in the district know best how to educate our children and not Tallahassee bureaucrats. He knows the importance of home rule and I know that we can count on him as we work together to ensure that our children have access to the best education possible,” said Broner.
“I am thankful for the support from Chairwoman Broner I look forward to continuing working with her as we ensure that our parents and their children have the best schools possible,” said Weinstein.
