Governor Rick Scott Appoints Ladisbel Leyva to Florida Center for Nursing

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Ladisbel Leyva to the Board of Directors, Florida Center for Nursing.

Leyva, 28, of Hialeah, has been the corporate clinical rotation manager for Dade Medical College since 2009. Previously, she coordinated quality management, performance improvement and staff development for Palm Springs General Hospital. She is a member of the South Florida Hospital and Healthcare Association and the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges. Leyva graduated from the National School of Technology and received certification in licensed practical nursing from Florida National College.

Leyva is appointed for a term beginning July 10, 2012, and ending June 30, 2015.
