Florida PSC Commission Conference

TALLAHASSEE – The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, July 17, Commission Conference:

ITEM 4: Docket 110138-EI http://www.floridapsc.com/library/FILINGS/12/03709-12/03709-12.pdf – Petition for increase in rates by Gulf Power Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation deferred from the June 19 Commission Conference on Gulf’s Motion for Reconsideration to include land, acquisition, and investigation costs for its North Escambia site in base rates.

ITEM 6: Docket 120058-EQ http://www.floridapsc.com/library/FILINGS/12/04461-12/04461-12.pdf – Petition for approval of a renewable energy power purchase contract with Rayonier Performance Fibers, LLC by Florida Public Utilities Company. The Commission will address a staff recommendation on FPUC’s contract proposal to purchase excess biomass energy from Rayonier.

ITEM 8: Docket 120126-GU http://www.floridapsc.com/library/FILINGS/12/04468-12/04468-12.pdf – Petition for approval of a residential standby generator rate schedule by Florida City Gas. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on FCG’s proposed rate schedule for new customers whose only natural gas appliance is a generator for use during power outages.
