*WELDON “OUTRAGED” BY DHS ANTI-AGGRESSION TRAINING*

Orlando, FL – The National Border Patrol Council Local 2544 in Arizona has been told in a training video from the Department of Homeland Security to run away and hide when confronted with active shooters. Only as a last resort, are they to become “aggressive” and throw things at the shooters.

Dr. Weldon was outraged. In a speech to his supporters he said, “In light of the shootings in Colorado, this is insanity. Everyone knows that if even just a few of the victims in that theater were armed, the gunman would not have killed twelve people and wounded dozens more. Someone would have and should have taken him out. But, this administration wants to turn all of us, including our border patrol agents, into pansies. First, we’ve been ordered to allow molestation at the airport. And now our law enforcement is supposed to “throw” things at someone who is shooting at them. How could this administration ask the men and women who are sworn to protect and serve dishonor themselves by running instead of doing their job? There is no honor among thieves; and the Obama administration is thicker than thieves.”

The Local 2544′s disgust for the brainwashing videos is more than apparent: “Multiple quizzes throughout the course and a final test ensure repeatedly that we know that we only have three options when encountering some murderous thug in a public place. 1. Run away; 2. Hide; and 3. Only put up a fight as a last resort by acting aggressively and throwing things at the shooter. Not one mention anywhere of “if you are carrying a gun and you have the opportunity take the shooter out”. . . .”

Dr. Weldon concluded, “Should the Secret Service surrounding the president follow these rules? From now on, if the president is being shot at, should the Secret Service run and hide – only as a last resort should they throw things at the would be assassin? Unlikely! So why the double standard for our border agents?”
