*SUPPORT GROUPS ORGANIZE FOR WELDON*

Orlando, FL – While there are many individual volunteers and families all over Florida working to help Dr. Dave Weldon in his campaign for the Republican U.S. Senate Primary, recently groups of volunteers have formed with their own identity.

In Orange and Osceola County, for example the following individuals (in no specific order) have formed “Orange-Osceola Weldon Victory Team: ” John Littell, MD; Jo Quittschreiber, Osceola County Republican Executive Committee (OCREC), Vice Chair; Gary Quittschreiber, Small Business Owner; George Jackow Jr., Former OCREC Chairman; Maria DaSilva Jackow, housewife; Jerry Buchanan, Valencia College Trustee; Eric Dohlman, IT Specialist; Jim Cook, Col. USA (Ret); Ruth Coberley, OCREC Treasurer; Doug Coberley, Small Business Owner; and Kane Robertson, College Freshman.

“We may not have elected officers or dues,” says Jo Quittschreiber, spokesperson for the group, “but that doesn’t mean we aren’t effective. And, we have a lot of fun while we’re at it,” she concludes, “It’s important work.”

In South Florida, the “Weldon for Senate, Miami-Dade Team” has been in existence for weeks. Their members include; Manny Cid, Hialeah-Miami Lakes Republican Club (President), Miami Lakes, FL; Ira J Paul, Councilman – Miami Dade Community Council 5; Palm Springs North, FL; Joseph Sosa, 2012 Miami Dade Republican Party Volunteer of the Year Hialeah Gardens, FL, William Mcrea, Weldon for Senate Miami Dade Student/College Campus Coordinator, Hialeah, FL.

Cid, the group’s organizer believes his team can make a difference in the outcome of the campaign; “Each one of us brings a constituency of his own to this battle,” says Cid, “We know all of the candidates in the Primary and Weldon is our choice. We won’t rest until Miami-Dade votes for a Dave Weldon Primary victory.”
