Governor Rick Scott Appoints Six to Florida Independent Living Council Inc.

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced five appointments and one reappointment to the Florida Independent Living Council Inc.

Vicki P. Ahern, 41, of Davie, is a special education mediator for the Florida Department of Education. She succeeds Peter S. Sachs and is appointed for a term beginning August 21, 2012, and ending June 30, 2015.

Rose Lee M. Archer, 60, of Boca Raton, is a broadcast journalist for Rose Lee Productions Inc. She succeeds Jesus Garcia and is appointed for a term beginning August 21, 2012, and ending June 30, 2014.

Patricia A. Lipovsky, 62, of Daytona Beach, is an independent property manager. She succeeds Douglas E. Hall and is appointed for a term beginning August 21, 2012, and ending June 30, 2013.

John E. Maguire, 65, of Tallahassee, is an operational analyst for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. He succeeds Kevin G. White and is appointed for a term beginning August 21, 2012, and ending June 30, 2015.

Remer “Chip” Wilson, 62, of Jacksonville, is the founder of ADA Consultants of N.E. Florida. He succeeds Denise T. Arnold and is appointed for a term beginning August 21, 2012, and ending June 30, 2014.

John T. Davis, 27, of Perry, is a mentor for persons with disabilities. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 21, 2012, and ending June 30, 2014.
