Governor Rick Scott Appoints Alexander Caballero to Thirteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Alexander Caballero to the Thirteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.

Caballero, 44, of Tampa, has practiced with Mason Black and Caballero P.A. since 1999. Previously, he was an assistant state attorney with the State Attorney’s Office for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit from 1993 to 1999. Caballero received a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and a law degree from Florida State University. He succeeds Edward W. Gerecke and is appointed for a term beginning August 22, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016. He is appointed from the list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar.
