FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH PROVIDES SECOND UPDATE ON DUVAL COUNTY TUBERCULOSIS EFFORTS

Tallahassee – On Friday, September 7, 2012, State Surgeon General Dr. John Armstrong, Interim Deputy Secretary for Health Dennis Cookro, M.D., MPH and Director of the Volusia County Health Department and Incident Commander Bonnie Sorensen, M.D. will host a media availability regarding the screening of persons potentially exposed to patients with tuberculosis (TB) identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Duval County. They will discuss the next phase.
