AHCA AND DOH TO ADDRESS CONCERNS ABOUT CARE PROVIDED TO MEDICALLY COMPLEX CHILDREN

Tallahassee – On Wednesday, September 12, 2012, officials from the Agency for Health Care Administration and the Department of Health will host a media availability to provide information about the allegations made by the Department of Justice accusing the State of housing children with disabilities in nursing homes illegally and unnecessarily. They will also speak about how the State is responding to the unfounded allegations.

A conference call line has been established for members of the media who wish to participate.
