Governor Rick Scott Appoints Three to Citrus County Hospital Board
Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Michael D. Bays, Ervin “Gene” Davis, and Krista K. Joseph to the Citrus County Hospital Board.
Bays, 58, of Lecanto, has been the president of Michael D. Bays Insurance Inc. since 1987. Previously, he served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1975. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and master’s degrees from Northeast Missouri State University and the University of South Florida. He is appointed for a term beginning September 21, 2012, and ending July 7, 2016.
Davis, 59, of Inverness, has been the president of InverMed Properties LLC since 2011. Previously, he served as president of Gensco Laboratories LLC from 2007 to 2011 and as president of Bio-Gel Laboratories Inc. from 2002 to 2007. He received a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. He is appointed for a term beginning September 21, 2012, and ending July 8, 2014.
Joseph, 51, of Crystal River, has been the president of Aspen Medical Consultants and Marketing since 1994. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. She is appointed for a term beginning September 21, 2012, and ending July 11, 2013.
The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
