Who Will Be the Judge?

Friday, October 5, 2012 at 3 PM

An event to educate voters about merit retention and the process by which judges in Florida are selected.

This public forum will examine the process of merit selection and retention, which has been used for appointees to the Florida Supreme Court since 1976. Panelists will include sitting Florida Supreme Court Justices Barbara J. Pariente, R. Fred Lewis and Peggy A. Quince, each of whom are currently up for a merit retention vote in November.

The League of Women Voters of Florida, in partnership with the FSU Alpha Phi Omega Community Service Fraternity & the FSU Women in Pre-Law Society, invites you to join us for this important discussion on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 3 PM.
