I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Broward County Deputy Sheriff Christopher Schaub. Deputy Schaub lost his life on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Pompano Beach.

In honor of Deputy Sheriff Christopher Schaub, I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at the County Courthouse of Broward County, Florida, the City Hall of Coral Springs, Florida, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and at all Broward County District Sheriff Offices on Tuesday, October 2, 2012.
