Sen. Bob Graham, Colleen Castille, Pegeen Hanrahan and Conservation Leaders to Discuss Next Phase of
Florida Water and Land Legacy Campaign

Former Florida U.S. Senator Bob Graham, Former DEP Secretary Colleen Castille, Former Gainesville Mayor Pegeen Hanrahan and leading Florida conservation groups will hold a news conference on Thursday to provide an update on the Florida Water and Land Legacy campaign and discuss a new phase the campaign is entering.

The campaign is dedicated to placing a constitutional amendment on the 2014 ballot to dedicate one-third of the net revenues from the existing excise tax on documents to restore the Everglades, protect drinking water sources, and revive the state’s historic commitment to protecting natural lands and wildlife habitat through the Florida Forever Program.

The news conference is scheduled for:
