Bill Herrle, Executive Director, National Federation of Independent Business Florida
Regarding the Recent Presidential Debate
“Governor Romney mentioned small business and the National Federation of Independent Business during the debate last night more times than any candidate in a Presidential debate in recent history. This underscores just how important small business is both in this election and to our country.
While last night’s debate may be proof that our concerns are beginning to be heard, small business owners are still deeply concerned with the direction the country has been going, and we continue to seek answers to how the candidates plan to address the current hurdles to job creation: the pending tidal wave of new federal regulations, the impacts of Obamacare and extraordinary government intrusion.
Small business is excited to be part of the dialogue, and we hope the candidates will continue to address their plans to reform the federal bureaucracy – especially as it relates to taxes, regulation, and healthcare – so we can help get the country back to work.”
