Attorney General Pam Bondi’s Statement Regarding the Passing of Congressman Gibbons

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–Attorney General Bondi issued the following statement
regarding the passing of Congressman Sam Gibbons:

“Congressman Gibbons was a true leader who not only shaped American policy,
but also left the legacy of a better Florida. He was a World War II
veteran who bravely served our country. As a native Tampa resident, I am
grateful for his contributions and positive impact on Tampa Bay.
Congressman Gibbons will be missed, and my thoughts and prayers are with
his family and friends.”
