Faith and Community Symposium Brings Together Government, Faith Leaders and More
DCF, DJJ host “Our Children, Our Future: Restoring Hope”

WHO: Department of Children and Families Secretary David Wilkins and Department of Juvenile Justice Secretary Wansley Walters; Renowned speaker Papa Joe Bradford of Elijah’s Heart Ministry; Legendary coach Tony Dungy; Jaiya John, who grew up in foster care and now is a true advocate for our children; and Derrick Brooks and Myron Rolle, former NFL football players who now partner with DCF on the Camps for Champions program for children in foster care.
WHAT: “Our Children, Our Future: Restoring Hope,” brings together leaders of faith, child welfare, juvenile justice and others to talk about how we work together to empower Florida’s children and families and set them on a path to success. This symposium will present several opportunities for meaningful collaboration that can truly change lives and strengthen communities.
