Governor Scott Appoints Eric Robinson to the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota District Board of Trustees

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Eric W. Robinson to the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota District Board of Trustees.

Robinson, 43, of Venice, is a managing partner of Robinson, Hanks, Young, and Roberts CPA. Previously, Robinson served on the Board of Workforce Florida and the Sarasota County Airport Authority. He has also served on the Florida Board of Accountancy since 2010. Robinson served in the U.S. Navy from 1988-1996. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, and his MBA from Florida International University. He is appointed for a term beginning October 22, 2012, and ending May 31, 2016.

The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
