Senator Fasano Recognized by Florida Legislative Alliance Community Associations Institute

State Senator Mike Fasano was given the “Distinguished Legislator and Friend of Community Associations and Community Associations Institute Florida Legislative Alliance Award” by the Florida chapter of the nationwide Community Associations Institute.  Senator Fasano was chosen to be the recipient of this annual award by a vote of the CAI-Florida Legislative Alliance at is September statewide meeting.

Delegates Dominick Scannavino and Barry Scarr state that the award recognizes distinguished legislators who advocate for informed legislation and  regulations that will result in vibrant and effective community associations.  Senator Fasano has historically been the sponsor of many pieces of legislation to help residents of community associations all throughout Florida.

“I am honored to be recognized by the members of this important advocacy organization,” Senator Fasano states. “Community associations and the unique needs of the residents who live in these communities have long been a top priority of mine.  The fine work Mr. Scannavino, Mr. Scarr and every member of the Community Associations Institute influences policy from the capital city of Tallahassee to the smallest town in Florida.  I look forward to continuing to work with them and all homeowners who need assistance.”

The Community Associations Institute is based in Falls Church, Virginia.  There are eight chapters in Florida.  The Suncoast Chapter represents nearly 300 community associations in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough Counties.
