Florida Children and Youth Cabinet Meet to Discuss Combating Human Trafficking

WHO: Department of Children and Families Secretary David Wilkins, chairman of the Florida Children and Youth Cabinet; Florida’s Chief Child Advocate Zack Gibson, Director of the Governor’s Office of Adoption and Child Protection; Children and Youth Cabinet members

WHAT: The Florida Children and Youth Cabinet will hold its regular meeting, which will include a discussion of state plans to fight human trafficking and provide assistance to victims. A new volunteer Advocate for Human Trafficking will also be named as part of the Governor’s Office of Adoption and Child Protection.

WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 31, 1-4 p.m.
