~This Holiday Season, Try These Fun New Scratch-Off Games From The Florida Lottery ~

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces five new holiday-themed Scratch-Off games to get you in the spirit of the season: $1,000,000 WISHES, HOLIDAY MAGIC, GINGERBREAD DOUGH, HAPPY HOLIDAYS and HOLIDAY CASH. The games, which go on sale today, range in price from $1 to $10 and feature more than $90 million in prizes combined. Lottery retailers will also provide specially-designed holiday gift envelopes for purchases of $5 or more, so customers can buy and “wrap” their Florida Lottery gifts with just one stop. All Lottery retailers are expected to have these new tickets in stock and available for purchase within 48 hours.

For $10, players have the chance to win up to $1 million with the $1,000,000 WISHES Scratch-Off game. The game features more than $30 million in total cash prizes, and the overall odds are one-in-3.26.

The $5 Scratch-Off game, HOLIDAY MAGIC, offers players the chance to win up to $250,000, and features more than $20 million in total cash prizes and the overall odds of winning are one-in-4.05.

For $2, the GINGERBREAD DOUGH “scented” Scratch-Off game, features more than $12 million in total cash prizes and the overall odds of winning are one-in-4.38.

For $2, players have the chance to win up to $25,000 with the HAPPY HOLIDAYS Scratch-Off game. The game features more than 2 million winning tickets and the overall odds of winning are one-in-4.36.

For only $1, players have the chance to win one of 400 $1,000 prizes with HOLIDAY CASH. The overall odds of winning are one-in-4.86.

Florida Lottery Scratch-Off prizes must be claimed within 60 days of the end-of-game date for that game, which is announced in the Scratch-Off section of the Florida Lottery website.

The Florida Lottery offers approximately 60 Scratch-Off games at any given time through vending machines or counter displays at more than 13,000 retailers statewide. Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, making up approximately 58 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $495 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2011-12.
