FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL HOSTS NEWS CONFERENCE ON TICKETING AGGRESSIVE CARS AND TRUCKS
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol will host a news conference at the Tallahassee Auto Museum to launch an enforcement and education campaign called Ticketing Aaggressive Cars and Trucks.

Representatives from state agencies, law enforcement and other safety partners will be on site and available for interviews.

Why: The mission of the TACT program is to reduce Commercial Motor Vehicle related crashes, injuries and fatalities by combining outreach, education and evaluation with targeted enforcement and awareness activities to raise awareness among car and truck drivers about safe driving behaviors. The goal of TACT is to deter unsafe driving behaviors by car and CMV drivers when they interact.
