PENSACOLA WOMAN CLAIMS $1.1 MILLION MEGA MONEY™ JACKPOT

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces Addie Dean, of Pensacola, claimed the December 11 MEGA MONEY™ jackpot of $1.1 million at Florida Lottery headquarters. Dean chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option for her winnings, in the amount of $913,816.63.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Circle K, located at 2020 West Cervantes Street in Pensacola. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning MEGA MONEY ticket.

This ticket was the eighth jackpot-winning MEGA MONEY ticket sold in Escambia County since 2004. Since the last time a player won a MEGA MONEY jackpot, sales from the game have generated nearly $1.4 million for education in Florida.

The next MEGA MONEY drawing will be held Tuesday, December 18, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $550,000 jackpot. The MEGA MONEY drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state, including WFGX and WEAR (ABC) in the Pensacola area, and are available for viewing on the Florida Lottery website. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery website, at retailers statewide and by phone at (850) 921-PLAY.
