WHAT THEY ARE SAYING…
Governor Scott’s Record of Job Creation Growing Businesses in Southeast Florida

Chief Executive Officer of Newly-Expanded ADT, Naren Gursahaney: “The State of Florida, Enterprise Florida, the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, and the City of Boca Raton have each played a pivotal role in helping us to expand our footprint here in South Florida. We look forward to partnering with state and local leaders to help us hire passionate and skilled employees who share ADT’s commitment to helping save lives.”

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Newly-Expanded United Technologies Corp. Louis Chênevert: “We appreciate the leadership and vision of Governor Scott and the support of the State and County governments as we expand our capabilities in West Palm Beach. This expansion involves Pratt & Whitney’s most advanced commercial and military engines and builds upon the great work already being done here. We look forward to continued strong cooperation with the State of Florida and Palm Beach County.”

President, of Newly-Expanded Univision Networks, Cesar Conde: “The new ABC-Univision network will be headquartered in a state-of-the art facility and will retain and attract the very best talent in the industry, creating a thriving and dynamic production hub that will undoubtedly benefit Miami-Dade County and the State of Florida. We’re very happy that through this historic venture we will be able to continue contributing to the job growth and progress of Florida.”

President and CEO of Newly-Expanded TBC, Larry Day: “This is our second Palm Beach Gardens expansion in the past three years. Not only does this growth allow us to serve our customers efficiently and effectively, it opens career opportunities in the tire and automotive services retail industry, as well as wholesale.”

President/CEO of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Barry E. Johnson: “Among the many advantages of our dynamic, global community are the diverse and talented people who choose to live here. Companies like U.S. Gas & Electric know they don’t need to invest in expensive relocations to grow their business as we have skilled people already here who want to live, work and stay in Miami.”

Director, President and CEO of U.S. Gas & Electric (“USG&E”) Douglas Marcille: “USG&E is proud to provide economic growth to the South Florida community through job creation. We plan to aggressively expand our operations to develop a ‘World-Class’ Contact Center to service and increase our customer base. This includes growing our sales team and the supportive resources they need for success including personnel for training, supervisory, managerial, operations, information technology, marketing, and administration.”
