Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference

TALLAHASSEE – The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at its Thursday, January 24, Commission Conference:

ITEM 2: Docket No. 120068-GU – Petition to initiate rulemaking to amend Rule 25-12.045, F.A.C., by Florida Natural Gas Association. The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the Association’s petition to amend Florida rules to improve public safety for all inactive service lines.

ITEM 6: Docket No. 130005-WS – Annual reestablishment of price adjustment index of operating costs incurred by water and wastewater utilities pursuant to Section 367.081(4)(a), F.S. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on which price index the Commission should use in calculating major operating cost adjustments for water and wastewater utilities.

ITEM 7: Docket No. 120263-EI – Petition for approval to modify project for proposed time-of-use and interruptible rate schedules and corresponding fuel rates in the Northwest Division, by Florida Public Utilities Company. The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the utility’s petition to increase participation in its General Service Large Demand time-of-use (GSLD-TOU) pilot program.
