$3 MILLION PRIZE CLAIMED IN THE GOLD RUSH TRIPLER SCRATCH-OFF GAME

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that the Francesco Ventura and Carmela A. Ventura Revocable Living Trust claimed a $3 million top prize in the GOLD RUSH TRIPLER Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. The trustees are Francesco Ventura, Carmela A. Ventura and Antonio F. Musso, all of Winter Haven. The winning ticket was purchased at Saveway Food Mart, located at 328 State Road 60 East in Tampa.

The $20 Scratch-Off game, GOLD RUSH TRIPLER, is the latest installment of the player favorite, GOLD RUSH Scratch-Off games. GOLD RUSH TRIPLER offers better odds of winning $30 to $500, compared to previous GOLD RUSH games, and the best odds ever to win $500,000. There is one $3 million top prize and two $500,000 prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.95.
The Florida Lottery offers approximately 60 Scratch-Off games at any given time through vending machines or counter displays at more than 13,000 retailers statewide. Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, making up approximately 58 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $495 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2011-12.
