Justice John Paul Stevens to deliver Criser Lecture at UF Law

Location: University of Florida Levin College of Law, Marcia Whitney Schott Courtyard

Event Overview
Retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens will be visiting UF Law as this semester’s Marshall Criser Distinguished Lecturer. The conversation is expected to cover a number of issues, including proportionality in sentencing, the justice’s proposal for an amendment of the Supremacy Clause of Article VI of the U.S. Constitution, and his criminal law jurisprudence. The discussion will be facilitated by a panel of UF Law faculty members. Tickets are required to attend the discussion.

The conversation is not open to the general public, but media are welcome to attend. Video and photography are not permitted, but UF Law will be providing high-resolution photographs immediately following the event, and it will be available as a live webcast here: http://video.ufl.edu/service2/public/pub_showMain.php?id=41294.
