Capital Regional Medical Center Completes Expansion
Hospital adds 44 additional beds

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Capital Regional Medical Center announces the completion of a two-floor expansion adding an additional 44 private beds. The expansion is expected to bring more healthcare jobs to the area.

The expansion of a major healthcare facility is great news for our area. 2012 was an important year for Capital Regional regarding quality measures, awards and accolades.

Capital Regional also operates the state-of-the-art 24/7 emergency facility in Gadsden County to serve the healthcare needs for Gadsden residents. Since its opening, the Gadsden Memorial Campus has served approx. 38,000 patients.

Capital Regional Medical Center also expanded its services in the last few years with the addition of a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room and a dedicated Inpatient Pediatric unit at its main campus in Tallahassee.
