Governor Rick Scott Appoints Michael Olenick to the Florida Virtual School Board of Trustees

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Michael Olenick to the Florida Virtual School Board of Trustees.

Olenick, 61, of Palm City, is the vice president of corporate affairs and chief compliance officer of The Morganti Group. Previously, he served as the general counsel of Florida’s Department of Education, and also as Assistant State Attorney for Broward, St. Lucie, and Martin Counties. Olenick received a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College and law degree from Nova Southeastern Law School. He succeeds Robert Muni and is appointed for a term beginning February 22, 2013, and ending September 10, 2016.
