Governor Rick Scott Highlights 100 New Jobs at Coastal Cloud, LLC

Palm Coast, Fla. – Governor Rick Scott today highlighted the expansion of Coastal Cloud, LLC’s corporate headquarters to Flagler County. Coastal Cloud, a computer service company and subsidiary of Graphene, will be creating 100 new jobs over the next three years and making a $3.1 million investment in Florida with the construction of 30,000 square feet of office space.

Governor Scott said, “Florida is headed in the right direction and what we are doing in Florida to create jobs is working. Our unemployment rate is at a record low and we have created nearly 200,000 private sector jobs in two years. Companies like Coastal Cloud are moving to Florida everyday and creating valuable jobs for our families because we offer a business friendly environment, superior quality of life and a talented workforce. Coastal Cloud is an expert in many industries and we are pleased to have their business in the Sunshine State.”

Coastal Cloud’s new facility will be used for providing analysis, programming and training to small and large companies seeking to expand and optimize their current operations.

Secretary of Commerce and president and CEO of Enterprise Florida Inc., Gray Swoope said,“Coastal Cloud’s expansion will move Flagler’s economy forward, thanks to results-focused teamwork among state and local partners and our commitment to job creation in Florida. Flagler County Commissioner and Economic Opportunity Advisory County Chair Barbara Revels said, “We appreciate Governor Scott’s commitment to creating jobs for Florida families and we welcome Coastal Cloud to the Flagler community. The 100 new jobs and investment Coastal Cloud is making in the community will make a big impact.”

Executive Director of the Flagler County Department of Economic Opportunity Helga van Eckert said, “Coastal Cloud is a win for Flagler County and Florida. Governor Scott has created an outstanding business climate in Florida and we have confidence more companies will continue to move and expand in Flagler County and across the state.”

President and vice president of Coastal Cloud, LLC., Sara and Tim Hale said, “When we decided to expand our company, we had many options- but, we liked what Florida had to offer. Florida is a business friendly state with a superior workforce and quality of life that cannot be matched. We are excited to expand and grow in the Sunshine State.”
