Commissioner Adam Putnam Announces Legislation to Protect the Identity of Children

1 in 10 Kids Become Victims of Identity Theft Before Age 18

Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam will announce legislation that will prevent children from becoming victims of identity theft.

Commissioner Putnam will be joined by Sen. Nancy Detert and Rep. Heather Dawes Fitzenhagen, who are the two sponsors of the legislation, along with child advocate Jack Levine, of 4Generations Institute.
