~ The James Madison Institute celebrates 25 years as Florida’s premier public policy organization with an open house at JMI headquarters, The Columns and a dinner event at FSU’s University Center Club on March 13, 2013 ~

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The James Madison Institute (JMI) begins its 25th anniversary celebration on Wed., March 13, 2013 with an open house at its new, historic headquarters The Columns (circa 1830). The public and media are invited to take tours of the building, which is one of the oldest, most storied landmarks in Tallahassee. Following the open house, JMI will host members of the Florida Cabinet, Florida Speaker of the House, and president and president-elect of The Heritage Foundation to lead an evening of celebration at FSU’s University Center Club. This reception and dinner will commemorate the last 25 years of JMI serving as one of Florida’s oldest and largest public policy organizations. Hashtag: #JMI25

Media are invited to tour The Columns at anytime during the open house hours.
