Senator Eleanor Sobel and Representative Mark Pafford Back Legislation to Create State-Wide Domestic Partnership Registry

The bills also allow individuals to be notified in the case of an emergency involving their domestic partner, provides the ability to own real estate together with their partner, allows an individual to be a healthcare proxy for their partner, and if no will exists, allows the surviving partner to oversee the remains of the deceased partner.
