Democratic Ranking Member Joe Gibbons Statement Regarding FY 2013-14 House Budget Allocations

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — House Democratic Ranking Member on Appropriations Joe Gibbons (D-Hallandale Beach) issued the following statement:

“Today, I had a friendly and productive conversation with Chairman Seth McKeel about the House proposed FY 2013-14 General Appropriations Act. I very much appreciate the willingness of Chairman McKeel and Speaker Weatherford to include me and the Democratic ranking members on House appropriations subcommittees in the announcement to legislative leaders of the Speaker’s proposed budget allocations and their explanations of those allocations. I look forward to an ongoing and open dialogue with Republican leadership as the Legislature builds a new state budget for Floridians.”
