Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference
TALLAHASSEE – The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at its Thursday, April 25, Commission Conference:
ITEM 3: Docket No. 090459-WS – Application for original certificates for proposed water and wastewater system and request for initial rates and charges in St. Lucie County by Bluefield Utilities, LLC (Bluefield). The Commission will address a staff recommendation to approve settlement agreements between Bluefield, the City of Port St. Lucie, and St. Lucie County; grant original water and wastewater certificates; and establish initial rates and charges.
ITEM 7: Docket No. 120302-EI – Petition for approval of a new environmental program for cost recovery through the Environmental Cost Recovery Clause (ECRC) by Tampa Electric Company (TECO). The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to approve TECO’s Mercury and Air Toxics Standards Compliance Program for Environmental Protection Agency compliance and ECRC cost recovery.
ITEM 8: Docket No. 120318-EI – Petition for approval of a new environmental program for cost recovery under the Environmental Cost Recovery Clause (ECRC), by Progress Energy Florida, Inc. The Commission will address a staff recommendation to approve the utility’s Groundwater Monitoring, Operation and Maintenance Requirements Compliance Program for Florida Department of Environmental Protection compliance and ECRC cost recovery.
ITEM 9: Docket No. 110200-WU – Application for increase in water rates in Franklin County by Water Management Services, Inc. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on the utility’s rate request and address the Office of Public Counsel (OPC)’s intervention.
