TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Kayntha Horne, 44, of Jacksonville, claimed a $500,000 prize in the GOLD RUSH TRIPLER Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. Horne, purchased her winning ticket at Arlington Food Mart, located at 3641 Rogero Road in Jacksonville.
The $20 Scratch-Off game, GOLD RUSH TRIPLER, is the latest installment of the player favorite, GOLD RUSH Scratch-Off games. The game offers better odds of winning $30 to $500, compared to previous GOLD RUSH games, and the best odds ever to win $500,000. There are three $3 million top prizes and four $500,000 prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.95.
The Florida Lottery offers more than 60 Scratch-Off games at any given time through vending machines and counter displays at more than 13,000 retailers statewide. Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, making up approximately 58 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $495 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2011-12.
