TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Harold Blitzer, of Boynton Beach, claimed the June 25 MEGA MONEY™ jackpot of $500,000 at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. Blitzer chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option for his winnings, in the amount of $385,819.25.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased from a Full Service Vending Machine at Walmart Market, located at 9840 South Military Trail in Boynton Beach. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning MEGA MONEY ticket.
This ticket was the 28th jackpot-winning MEGA MONEY ticket sold in Palm Beach County since 2004. Total ticket sales from this drawing generated more than $258,000 to the Education Enhancement Trust Fund.
The next MEGA MONEY drawing will be held Tuesday, July 2, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $550,000 jackpot. The MEGA MONEY drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state including WPBF (ABC) in the Palm Beach area.
