Governor Rick Scott Appoints Two to Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointments of Daniel Cane and Mary Beth McDonald to the Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees.

Cane, 36, of Boynton Beach, is the chief executive officer of Modernizing Medicine. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning August 20, 2013, and ending January 6, 2018.

McDonald, 61, of Vero Beach, is the president of One Source Media & Marketing. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning August 20, 2013, and ending January 6, 2016.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
