TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Spencer Christopher, 47, of Jacksonville, claimed a $1 million prize in the $1,000,000 SEASON’S GREETINGS Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. Christopher celebrated his upcoming birthday with a one-time, lump-sum payment of $679,278.26.

Christopher purchased his winning $1,000,000 SEASON’S GREETINGS Scratch-Off ticket from Racetrac, located at 7801 Normandy Boulevard in Jacksonville. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The $10 Scratch-Off game, $1,000,000 SEASON’S GREETINGS, is one of five themed Scratch-Off games the Lottery launched in October.  The game features more than $30 million in total cash prizes, is available in three different eye-catching colors, and has overall odds of winning of one-in-3.41.

Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 60 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $575 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2012-13.
